    Bill and his crew just completed a major overhaul of our 15-year old backyard. We have a 17,000 lot with a backyard pool that had been surrounded mostly by grass. Our maturing trees had spread roots into the lawn causing many spots where the lawn wouldn’t grow. We sought advice from a Landscape Architect, developed a plan and hired Bill and his crew to implement (we found him through the Fresno Bee). We made a number of changes as the job unfolded and Bill was always accommodating. Our new plan reduced our lawn by over half and was replaced with planter areas. Bill was able to use existing sprinkler lines as much as possible and added as appropriate. Our new yard resembles a small park with its newly planted areas, lights, patio and pergola and decomposed granite walkways. Bill and his crew were polite, worked within budget and time constraints, always cleaned up for themselves and were a pleasure to have around our home. I can honestly say that of all the contractors I’ve worked with over the years (carpet/hardwood/granite/paint, etc) that this experience was the smoothest. I highly recommend Bill for any landscaping needs.

    Like many new model home communities in Fresno Ca, my wife and I bought a beautiful home…. without a back yard landscape option. So we have been putting up with a dirt lot in the back for the last 2 years. With our daughter nearing 2 years old and wanting to play outdoors more often we finally buckled down and started our back yard planning. I looked in the phone book and jotted down all the advertisements that had web site links. After browsing a few sights I jumped on Bills website and was very impressed. As an IT professional I found his website very well designed and functional. With this much thought going into the site, I knew he would also put the time into the yard. The other thing that caught my attention was the fact that throughout all of the pictures you actually see the crew as well as Bill himself working. It was not just random pics of yards, you could actually see the start to finish, before and after, crew and company owner. I was most impressed with the fact that Bill was very easy to work with. I actually designed the yard weeks before, and he worked with my design and my wife and I to give us what we wanted. Where I made mistakes as a non professional he would inform me of the correct options and then let me decide which route to take, and or what other options I did not think about or know were viable. My wife is Japanese and Bill and his crew took my design and tweaked it into a half contemporary, half Japanese garden, complete with Japanese maples, rock beds, yard lighting, stone paver patio with fire pit and much more. For the home owner with a flair for design Bill and his crew are great to work with. I now have one of the best landscaped backyards in the whole community. 5 Stars for Anderson landscape by design!!

    Bill’s landscaping crew just finished a large backyard project in my 32 year old north
    Fresno home. Being that old most original trees and bushes had grown too large for the space. Basically it was a jungle because I had little time for maintenance. I worked with Bill to develop a low maintenance backyard with dry riverbeds and low retaining walls and small palms and bushes. I had a basic plan and he made suggestions based on experience and let me decide. They went over and above what was promised as the job went on with things like drains and sprinklers. I think you’ll see the pictures on his website.
    I actually found Bill’s service through the Better Business Bureau’s website as his was one that had an A or A+ rating and also after getting other estimates and receiving very little feedback from other contractors.
    In short I would do business again with him and would higly recommend his service to my friends.
